Registration
1. I would like to get a refund on my registration fee. What should I do?
- The organizing committee will refund the registration fee according to the following policies. Refunds will only be made if a written notice of cancellation is received before May 31, 2011. Only cancellations made in writing will be acceptable.

2. Can’t make payment through the online registration system.

If you want to use the online registration system on this conference site, you have to set up the Active X module. This is available only with Explorer. Firefox, Chrome and Safari users can’t make payments online. Participants having difficulties with making payment online are requested to make payment through offline credit card payment (Only VISA, MASTER and JCB are available), or Bank Transfer. Download the offline credit card payment form and fill out all information, and then send it back to the secretariat by e-mail (registration@iccm18.org) or fax (+82-2-566-6087).
3. I would like to receive the registration receipt.
- The registrant can print out a receipt from “My Page” on the online registration page after completion of payment.
4. I want an invitation letter to apply for a visa.
- The registrant can download an invitation letter from “My Page” on the online registration page, both Eng. /Kor. versions. If the registrant needs a notarized invitation letter or the original copy of the invitation letter, an additional fee will be requested and process will be on progress after confirmation of deposit (notarization fee, mailing fee, etc.).
5. What kind of benefit is given when I register?
- The Welcome reception and all conference sessions are available to registrants. Also, a conference bag, program book and lunch coupon will be provided. However, to participate in the conference dinner, an extra ticket is on sale.
5. I’m a presenter (Oral/Poster), can I register on site?
- All presenters are requested to complete registration before pre-registration deadline (May 31, 2011). Papers will be withdrawn if pre-registration is not completed.
6. What kinds of events can registrants attend?
- All registrants are able to attend the welcome reception, banquet, coffee breaks and all conference sessions. Also, program book and lunch coupons will be provided.
Exception: a) Accompanying person fee includes only reception and banquet.
b) Student fee does not include banquet.
7. What is Accompanying person?
- Accompanying person means registrants’ family members. Accompanying person fee includes only reception and banquet.
8. I want a tax invoice for the registration fee. (Only for domestic participants)
- The Korean Society for Composite Materials is Non-profit organization under the Ministry of education, science and technology. Therefore, tax invoice is not available.
9. I’d like to do pre-registration, but what if all of the payment methods (online/offline card payment and bank transfer) are unavailable, or in the case of group registration, what should I do?
- Please contact the secretariat.
Conference Program
1. Can I present more than one paper?
- A basic rule is 1 paper for 1 ID. Hence, single or multiple presentations is available after the full payment of registered ID.
2. If I submit a paper to ICCM18, which journal will publish my paper?
- All presenters, who submitted abstract and accepted, should submit full paper by May 31. After oral/poster presentation at the ICCM18, full papers will be reviewed by the organizing committee and selected papers will be published in special issue of SCI or SCI-E journals. Acceptance of papers is subjected to the review process by the journals.

3. I’d like to make a modification of my paper. (Ex: add author, etc.)
- Please contact the secretariat individually.
4. What kind of equipment is available at session room?
- For oral presenters, a laptop (offering Microsoft office 2003, 2007) and laser pointer will be prepared. Checking your presentation material at least 40 minutes before the lecture at the preview room is recommended.
5. What if I can’t attach the poster in person?
- Poster presentation is possible, only when you complete registration. If you can’t participate for some unavoidable reasons after registration, please send the printed poster to the secretariat at least one week before ICCM18.
Conference Program
1. I’d like to make a hotel reservation, how can I do that?
- Please refer to the accommodation page. (http://www.iccm18.org/acco_01.htm). If possible, complete your reservation by the first week of June in order to guarantee your room. Additionally, you can make a reservation at a discounted price.
2. How can I go to the Jeju ICC (Conference Venue)?
- Shuttle bus will be arranged for those who stay in Jungmun/Seoquipo area hotels by organizing committee. For those who stay in other areas, please use public transportation.
3. Are there any official tour programs? If any, can I have contact details of the travel agency?
- ICCM18 will not run any official tour programs, but ICCM18 has prepared a variety of tour programs. Please see the Tour page at the homepage and contact the tour agency (Plaza 21) individually.
4. How can I participate in the welcome reception and banquet?
- All registrants are able to attend the Reception and banquet. Students who want to take part in banquet are requested to purchase the ticket.
5. How much does it cost for children to attend the banquet?
- The conference dinner doesn’t have a fixed cost for children. If you need seats for your children, please pay for the regular price.
